ABSTRACT
A lipoaspiração ou lipossucção, atualmente é a cirurgia estética mais realizada no mundo. Ela consiste na remoção cirúrgica de gordura subcutânea, por meio de cânulas submetidas a uma pressão negativa e introduzidas por pequenas incisões na pele. Corresponde atualmente a uma técnica simples, rápida, pouco dispendiosa e, quando bem indicada, isto é, em adultos saudáveis com gordura localizada, apresenta excelentes resultados. Objetivos: Este estudo realizado no Hospital e Maternidade SOCIMED, visa descrever características em uma série de 38 cirurgias de lipoaspiração realizadas em Tubarão entre outubro de 2004 e fevereiro de 2005. Resultados: Houve predomínio do sexo feminino (92,1). Sendo elas em sua maioria brancas e com índicede escolaridade de 15 anos ou mais (superior completo). A idade variou entre 17 e 54 anos, sendo que a maior procura pelo procedimento ocorreu na faixa etária de 15 a 30 anos, correspondendo a 53 dos casos. Abdome, flancos e culote foram as áreas mais aspiradas. Grandes porcentagens de superfície corporal foram envolvidas, 89,5 dos pacientes tiveram mais de 25 (variou de 1 a 40). O menor volume aspirado foi de 90 ml e o maior de 4650 ml. Os resultados terapêuticos avaliados clínica e por documentação fotográfica foram considerados muito bons pelo cirurgião. O mesmo ocorreu quanto ao grau de satisfação do paciente, 89,5 supriram suasexpectativas, 100 fariam novamente e indicariam para outra pessoa.Conclusão: A cirurgia foi considerada bastante segura, tendo em vista que não ocorreu nenhuma intercorrência no trans-operatório e houve apenas uma complicação no pós-operatório, hematoma extenso de flanco esquerdo, que foi tratado clinicamente...
The liposuction at present is a aesthetic plastic surgery most performed in the world. It is consistedin the surgical removal of subcutaneous fat, through out a tube subjected to the negative pressure and introducedby small incisions in the skin.
